Each composition takes shape long before the first stitch. It begins with the search for a rhythm between forms. The hand faithfully transfers the design onto linen, while light brings out its subtle relief. Linen, thread and wood become its natural matter.

I created Linoline
I like seeing something tangible take shape over time. I have always been drawn to working with my hands and creating things that are made to last. The process itself is valuable to me.
I chose embroidery consciously. It is a technique deeply rooted in Polish craft, which I interpret in my own way. It allows me to create at the pace of real life. There is no need to wait for the perfect moment or separate work from everyday life.
It is a medium that gives the compositions a dimension that cannot be achieved through any other technique. For me, it has become a natural language of design — bringing material and patience together in one process.
... what it is made of
Linen canvas, tightly stretched over a frame. Strong enough to and retain its shape over time.
Cotton embroidery thread, whose tightly worked stitches create a three-dimensional surface that changes with the direction of light.
Lightweight oak, hand-finished. A slow process, rewarded with durability and timelessness.
