Context

Three compositions were created in reference to the history of the place. The revitalised buildings on Mogilska Street previously housed mills and a grain processing facility, which inspired the organic, plant-like forms in the embroideries, based on the shapes of the materials processed there.

The colour palette refers to the existing architecture – warm tones of brick, wood and natural materials. The final composition moves away from soft, organic forms towards more angular, geometric shapes. Its arrangement draws on a contemporary sculpture installed in the courtyard of the development.
