Hand-stitched images are my interpretation of folk art. Each pattern is sketched and embroidered in a single copy, which is confirmed by the attached certificate of authenticity.

The entire process from building the loom, stretching the fabric, embroidery, preparing frames, and framing is done by me.

Each of the images is ready to hang, vertically and/or horizontally, and has a signature. It can be framed in a wooden frame.

Modern, unconventional, precise, natural, non-figurative, linear, decorative, raw - that is the essence of Linoline embroidery.

This is the embroidery.

Wood

You will find only oak frames with me. Floating frames, American box, or simply called "elk frames."

Made of lightweight wood.

Not laminate, not veneer.

I have been making them myself forever.

It is a labor-intensive process, especially when done by hand, but it is rewarded with durability and the introduction of character into interiors.

Cotton mulina is made from six twisted threads, creating a beautiful shine. It draws a unique effect, characteristic only to the embroidery technique. It allows for emphasizing individual elements and creating three-dimensionality, which gives a sense of structural bas-relief.

Trends change, collections create new ones, but what would artistic fabric be without natural raw materials? Linoline consists of 3 components, combined using a traditional embroidery technique.

The fabric is 100% linen, with cotton thread and oak frames.

This makes the images not only timeless but also not requiring special "care," like most textile art.

RAW MATERIALS

Len

The fabric is deeply rooted in folk art. It is resistant to immense tension and overloads.

Anti-static and that’s what interests us the most - it does not attract dust.

It has anti-allergic and antibacterial properties.

Thanks to this, embroidered images can delight your eyes in open exposure, allowing for viewing through touch and light.

A kim jestem ja?

Hello, my name is

Wioletta Węgrzynowicz - Nowak,

I am an interior designer who needed to take a break.

However, because I cannot relax idly, I started creating embroidery during my series marathons.

I love designing in various sectors, especially patterns for children's fabrics. This allows me to always do something new and operate with a fresh mind.

The most important thing in design for me is composition.

It connects all elements and makes something appealing to us, even if it is not in our style.

That is the meaning of it all.

Why did I choose embroidery?

I am interested in returning to what is original. To surround myself with natural materials and draw from what our grandmothers and great-grandmothers knew, but in a completely non-repetitive way. Something that creates modern, unexpected forms and compositions. Embroidery is not just cross-stitching, it's not lace, it's not just a trend. These can be wall decorations enclosed in frames, like full-fledged paintings.

Installations, interior design elements, photo backdrops, designer objects. The possibilities for classic arrangements and modern uses are truly numerous. I believe that its time is approaching, and I would like to test its potential to the limits.
