The gradual increase and decrease in the density of the short stitch allowed the form to emerge through its own disappearance. Densely embroidered areas transition into individual, scattered stitches, creating a soft boundary between colour and the natural texture of the linen. This technique opened up new ways of building depth and movement within the composition.
